CLP Lottery
If you would like to donate a small, monthly amount to help fund local campaigning, please consider joining Dorking and Horley CLP Lottery, THE 200 CLUB.
How it works:
Dorking and Horley Labour Party members (or former members) buy shares, paid monthly by standing order. At the end of every month, 50% of the proceeds are drawn and given to the winners in the form of cash prizes. We currently give a first and second prize each month. The rest of the money goes into local party funds. You Win, Labour Wins.
The more shares you buy, the more likely you are to win. Most subscribers pay £1 per share, although if you wish to donate more, you can choose a higher sum per share (paying more per share will not increase your chance of winning). The draw is made by the treasurer at monthly CLP meetings, witnessed by the other attendees. The total number of shares is currently limited to 200, but this can be changed if membership increases.
How to join:
If you are able to set up the standing order yourself, using internet or phone banking or by post, we would be grateful. However, if you would like us to set it up on your behalf, please contact the treasurer. Once the standing order is set up, please contact the treasurer (details below), confirming start date and number of shares. He will then allocate share numbers and communicate them to you.
